Thanks. I agree that the existing process is not obvious without reading the documentation.
I’ve implemented a simpler workflow for the next release. When you choose Solution → Add Project… and select Worker, the dialog now displays an Include Worker In option. The current application is selected automatically, so creating and attaching a Worker normally requires only entering its name and clicking OK.
If a solution contains multiple applications, you can choose which application should include the Worker. There is also a Do not include yet option for Workers that should remain unattached.
I kept this under Solution → Add Project… because a Worker is a project in the solution rather than an item belonging exclusively to another project. However, the result is the streamlined workflow you suggested: the Worker is created and included in the chosen application in one operation, without requiring a separate visit to Project Settings → Workers.
