Module Method Namespace/Scope

I have a question about Module Methods

Lets say you have a Module with two Methods called Save(saveObject As Object) and Serialize(obj As Object)

If you call Serialize from Save it can't find it, you have to type ModuleName.Serialize(obj)

Is this the intended behaviour? It makes writing modules cumbersome
