I noticed Objo apps following the OS’s light/dark setting which is great. I see that Avalonia has extensive theming support. https://docs.avaloniaui.net/docs/styling/themes

Theming let you control the overall look and feel of your app. I know there are some more pressing enhancements of the framework but is theming on the roadmap?

I do want to allow for user-defined theming so this will get implemented but not in the immediate next few releases whilst I knuckle down on bug fixing and IDE improvements if that's alright.

WinForms did not even support dark mode until .NET 9. Before that I was literally using an open source library some guy who works in Antartica wrote during his downtime, probably to keep from going nuts, lol.

Historically I have done line of business apps for a living and theming or skinning has just never been on any of my client's radar. However, a general release app would definitely find it invaluable. Or who knows, I may acquire a new client with taste!

I’m a great fan of Delphi which has theming (VCL styles) out of the box. Many users are pleased with the ability to change the look and feel with the click of a mouse.
