German keyboard shortcut for toggle comment

I did not find the key combination to toggle comments on/off on Linux with german keyboard layout.
Can someone help me out?

Please try Ctrl+#, using the # key on your German keyboard.

I checked the shortcut handling, and Studio should recognise that combination. The Ctrl+" shown in the menu is a misleading generic key label that isn’t being adapted to your keyboard layout on Linux.

If Ctrl+# doesn’t work, please let me know your Studio version and Linux distribution so I can investigate further.

Ctrl+# was the second combination I tried, no luck. That gives only an #, replacing selected text.
Objo 26.10.2, Kubuntu 26.04.1 (did not work on 24.04.4 also).
But please don't waste your time on that. I'm just one of the old guys who prefer shortcuts instead of clicking my way thru.

Thanks for testing that and for the version details. My earlier reply was too confident: this appears to be a shortcut bug as well as a misleading menu label. Ctrl+# should toggle comments, not replace your selected code with #.

I’ve logged this as a bug and will investigate using a German keyboard layout on Fedora. I don’t have Kubuntu available, but that should give me a useful starting point for checking how Studio receives the shortcut.

I think this is fixed for the next release @RolfG but please let me know as I don't have your exact Linux setup available to test.
