Hi Sandro,
Thanks for flagging this. I could reproduce the scrolling here on a laptop trackpad as well. Both points are now addressed and will ship in the next Studio release:
The fast scrolling. The calendar popup was treating every scroll-wheel event as "move one month" (or one year/decade in the header's month and year views). That's fine for a mouse with a notched wheel, where one notch is one event, but a Magic Mouse or trackpad emits a continuous stream of small scroll events, so a single swipe paged the calendar dozens of times. The popup now waits for a notch-equivalent amount of scrolling before moving, and purely horizontal scrolling is ignored completely.
The today dot. The popup header now has a small dot beside the navigation arrows. Clicking it selects today's date, returns the calendar to the current month, and closes the popup - handy after you've scrolled off to a distant month. It follows the light and dark theme, and it's disabled when today falls outside the date range you've set with DisplayDateStart/DisplayDateEnd.
