Thanks for this little nudge. I’ve implemented a substantial plain-text editing upgrade for TextArea for the next Objo Studio release.
The control now has:
Clear(), ClearSelection(), Copy(), Cut(), InsertText(), Paste(), Redo(), SelectAll() and Undo()CanCopy, CanCut, CanPaste, CanRedo and CanUndoAcceptTabs, PlaceholderText and WrapText- A
TextCommitted event, fired after edited text is committed by leaving the control
These features use the underlying Avalonia text control, preserving its native selection, read-only, maximum-length and undo behaviour.
Styled text and RTF import/export are not part of this batch; rich-text support remains a separate feature for now.
