This is now implemented and will ship in the next release: PostgreSQL LISTEN/NOTIFY support.
There’s a new PostgreSQLNotificationListener class with its own dedicated connection, separate from the connection your app uses for queries. You subscribe to channels with Listen, call Start, and receive notifications through its NotificationReceived(channel, payload, pid) event. You can connect that event to a method on your window using AddHandler and AddressOf.
Sending notifications uses the existing database API. For example, with a connected PostgreSQLDatabase named db:

The listener supports multiple channels, subscription changes while running, and stopping/restarting. Connection failures raise an Error event; calling Start again reconnects and restores the subscriptions.
PostgreSQL’s usual behaviour applies: notifications sent within a transaction are delivered when it commits, and notifications missed during a disconnection aren’t replayed.
The release documentation will include a Desktop example showing how to connect the listener to window methods, display incoming notifications, and send them from a button.
